New Faces at the Flood Control District

In October we welcomed four fantastic new professionals to our ever-growing team. Take a moment to learn more about their new duties and responsibilities.

Lydia Sowell became one of the Flood Control Districts newest Equipment Operators, under the supervision of Joe Medina. Ms. Sowell will be responsible for inspecting vegetation management operations for contract compliance and providing quality control for support services provided on the Flood Control District’s capital and maintenance projects.

Kory Nickell joined the Flood Control District as one of its new Turf Establishment Coordinator, under the supervision of John Watson. Mr. Nickell will be responsible for inspecting vegetation management operations for contract compliance and providing quality control for support services provided on the Flood Control District’s capital and maintenance projects.

Mark Metcalf has joined Flood Control District as an Equipment Operator, under the supervision of Joe Medina. Mr. Metcalf will be responsible for inspecting vegetation management operations for contract compliance and providing quality control for support services provided on the Flood Control District’s capital and maintenance projects.
